Gradiant goes with AuthUSB and Inprosec to show the latest advances in cybersecurity innovation developed in Galicia
Leader of the first Cervera cybersecurity network and the first cybersecurity centre in Galicia -along with ElevenPaths-, the Galician centre will show its innovations in San Francisco
Gradiant takes part, for the fourth year running, at the RSA Conference 2020, one of the largest conferences on security and technology in the world. From February 24th to 28th, San Francisco becomes the international capital of cybersecurity where new approaches to information security will be presented and the latest cybersecurity technology solutions will be discovered.
In this international event that each year brings together more than 50,000 attendees, Gradiant accompanies AuthUSB, focused on the development of innovative solutions in cyber security, and Inprosec, specialist in information security management. The two Galician SMEs will have their own space in the Spanish pavilion (booth 1665 Moscone Center San Francisco) to present their work and experience in the sector. This internationalisation action is carried out within the framework of the “Galicia Exporta Empresas” programme promoted by Igape.
“Being able to be part of the world’s largest cybersecurity event with Galician SMEs, which can showcase their innovative products and participate in international activities to improve their competitiveness, is one of our goals” explains Juan González, Security and Privacy Director at Gradiant.
Digital identity verification and secure financial transactions
Remote and secure user identity verification has become a must-have for digital business. This fact makes it essential to develop advanced, reliable and easy-to-use solutions to prevent fraud, especially in digital onboarding and KYC processes to meet the customers.
Both large companies and SMEs need to have technology that remotely guarantees the verification of users, as well as the authenticity of the files they receive from them in the digital processes to avoid security problems and economic losses due to possible spoofing attacks, for example.
In the RSA, Gradiant will show its technology in cyber security for companies, among which Valida by Gradiant stands out, for the detection of manipulations in the digitalized documentation (identity documents, passports, payroll, invoices, etc.) provided by users in Know Your Customer (KYC) processes; and Black ICE HSM by Gradiant, a tool for the efficient management of financial HSMs.
Financial institutions own strong cryptographic systems based on hardware to protect the financial transactions of their clients. Black ICE HSM solves the complexity related to HSMs usage and management, facilitating the integration with the business processes.
Gradiant, cutting-edge parter for innovation in cybersecurity
“Cybersecurity has been a strategic bet in Gradiant from the very beginning, which we have been strengthening over the years as it is one of the core technologies for digital transformation along with connectivity and artificial intelligence, which are our areas of expertise. Betting in a decisive and continuous way has led us to become a reference and support Galician SMEs to improve their competitiveness” explains Juan González.
Proof of this is TEGRA, the first Galician cybersecurity centre, along with ElevenPaths. In addition, Gradiant leads the national network ÉGIDA, the first Spanish cybersecurity group, in which Fidesol, Vicomtech and Ikerlan also participate. ÉGIDA is one of the 7 national bets for applied technology research in the framework of the Cervera programme for technology centres of excellence, the only one led by a Galician centre.
