SMARTLOGISTIC

The general objective of the project is to conceive and implement a new intelligent logistics system for the comprehensive, real-time management of FINSA’s product warehouses, so as to achieve the optimization of warehouse operations and significantly improve the control of stock. The aim is to provide the logistics system with a series of new technological capabilities related, on the one hand, to data collection and stock traceability thanks to new wireless and automated reading solutions and, on the other, through the incorporation of new intelligent tools that help operators in the efficient management of warehouses and loads. Gradiant will develop a solution to optimize truck load distribution, by researching new methods and algorithms to devise a new intelligent tool. This includes, among other things, the 3D modeling of the packages to be loaded, the use of efficient optimization algorithms for their application in real time and the development of an optimization solution that improves the use of space in transports while respecting a series of complex business restrictions. In addition, the different solutions developed will be integrated with Finsa’s management software to facilitate its daily use.
