Nowadays, there are hardly any barrier to information access and everything is transmitted in seconds. We can see every day how large volumes of data are handled and how ICTs affects virtually anything we do. Today we can open a bank account from our sofa or use a “cloud” service to share the latest project we have worked on and, at the same time, know that all our data is protected.
At Gradiant we incorporate our vision and knowledge of telecommunication technologies into the processes and products that companies develop. We bring our expertise from the point of view of connectivity, intelligence and security to work hand in hand with the industry from our surroundings.

The Foundation
Gradiant, ICT R&D centre, is backed by a board foundation including representatives of the three Galician universities (Vigo, Santiago and A Coruña) and the most important companies working in Galicia (Abanca, Altia, Arteixo Telecom, Egatel, Indra, Plexus, R, Telefónica, Televés and Vodafone); and INEO business association, which represents most of ICT Galician companies.

Gradiant’s mission can be summed up as “contributing to the innovative dynamism, growth and competitive improvement of the Galician business ecosystem through technology development and innovation in the use of ICT”.
Our philosophy is to help companies generate business. We integrate the transfer of knowledge and design specialized solutions for the industry, adding the added value of the Center’s professionals. Gradiant is the key ICT partner for companies to generate profits, innovating and designing “à la carte” products for each client.
We have positioned ourselves as a benchmark digital innovation agent in the Galician R&D System. We are an economically sustainable Technological Center, with an international vocation and projection and with a highly qualified professional team. Within this framework, the commitment to a culture of collaboration to join forces and seek synergies with other organizations. Our activity is R&D&i, always focused on improving the competitiveness of the industry and generating value for its clients and for the innovative Galician ecosystem.
We pursue the following objectives:
- Become a backbone ICT agent of the Galician Innovation System and contribute to its strengthening
- To be the strategic partner of reference for Galician companies in the application of ICT knowledge to significantly improve their competitiveness
