The 6th Advanced Satellite Multimedia Systems Conference and the 12th Signal Processing for Space Communications Workshop will be held during the 5th, 6th and 7th of September in Baiona, near Vigo, jointly organized by the University of Bologna, the DLR Institute for Communications and Navigation, the European Space Agency, the University of Vigo and Gradiant. Both European consortia Integral SatCom Initiative Technology Platform and SatNEx Network of Experts support also the organization.
This joint conference is an outstanding opportunity for industry and research institutions to get the latest updates and to exchange information about recent advances and emerging technologies for mobile, broadband and broadcast satellite communication systems. Joseph Mitola (Stevens Institute of Technology), Bjorn Ottersten (University of Luxembourg), John Lodge (CRC) or Riccardo de Gaudenzi (ESA), among others, will give tutorials and keynote speeches on different topics in the field, complementing the presentation of regular papers.
