Gradiant increases its commitment in attracting EU funds from H2020 program

H2020

The enlargement of the OPE (European Projects Office) within Gradiant is another step in the implementation of the Centre’s Strategic Plan, wich is focused on a better orientation to the markets, the reach of technological excellence and the internationalization of the Center’s activities.

With this addition, Gradiant reaffirms its vocation to continue incorporating Galician companies to international consortia for H2020 program.

Alicia Jimenez has developed a successful career as head of European projects in companies of national and international reach such as Wellness Telecom, LCC Wireless or Adevice Solutions, where he managed and coordinated several European and national projects in the areas of Smart cities and Cloud Computing.

She joins Gradiant with “enthusiasm and desire to work hard with our customers and partners, to assist in their internationalization strategy” thanks to R&D projects funded by the EU through H2020 program.

In the short livespan of Horizon 2020, Gradiant has already secured its participation in two European projects, WITDOM and SEERS. Two projects which must be added to the success story of the Center during FP7, a period during which Gradiant has participated in seven European projects (some of them still running): LIFTGATE, SIGNED, MAVEN, CAESARIS, PRIPARE, FI-WARE and BATS.
