A team from Gradiant will show, at the ICEX stand, the capabilities of Valida, the identity verification and document fraud prevention tool.

They will also offer demonstrations of SafeGate, which facilitates the integration and management of cryptographic hardware (HSM).

The largest international event for the financial industry, Money 20/20 Europe, takes place from 6th to 8th June in Amsterdam. This is the ideal showcase to show the solutions designed and developed in Gradiant specifically for this sector. Therefore, a team from the technology centre will take advantage of this event to present the different features and facilities offered by Valida and SafeGate technologies. This is possible thanks to Invest In Spain and the Instituto de Comercio Exterior España Exportaciones e Inversiones (ICEX), which leads an expedition in which they have counted on Gradiant for its stand in the Spain Pavilion.

With Money 20/20 Europe, Amsterdam becomes the host of the event with the largest professional presence in the Fintech sector in Europe. More than 7,500 visitors from the financial industry, 2,300 companies from 90 countries, 350 speakers in an extensive conference program, are some of the figures of this reference event.

Valida, the tool to prevent document fraud

With more than 3.4 million documents verified, Valida by Gradiant solution is an essential tool for platforms that require authentication of identity documents for the digital onboarding process. In addition, this technology has several verification tools that facilitate compliance with KYC, Know Your Customer protocol.

Using artificial intelligence, Valida by Gradiant verifies the identity of users through forensic techniques and offers companies an extra level of security by identifying fraud in all online user identity verification procedures. Valida by Gradiant has two tools for different uses. On the one hand, Valida Docs detects manipulations in images or PDF documents; while Valida ID verifies whether the identity documents presented when registering in an online system have been captured from a screen. In just an instant, Valida ID and its screen detection tool analyses hundreds of data points in the document image, looking for subtle nuances, imperceptible to the human eye, such as image patterns, colour changes and textures. Our Valida ID solution is 100% Gradiant-developed and has a 99% reliability and a 1% false or improper rejection rate.

It supports all types of identification documents such as payslips or driving licences, and does not require connection to external databases, operating autonomously.

SafeGate: facilitates integration and management of cryptographic hardware (HSM)

Another of the solutions that the Gradiant team is showing at the Money 20/20 Europe event is SafeGate. The dynamism of the fintech sector requires technologies that are equally dynamic and suitable for a changing scenario such as the current one. For this reason, SafeGate has been designed and developed with the aim of facilitating the integration and management of cryptographic hardware (HSM) with financial applications and services. SafeGate manages and operates HSMs from different sellers. This results in huge cost savings in integration and migration processes.

SafeGate facilitates the deployment of scalable architectures while making more efficient use of HSMs. This solution is best suited for financial applications and services as it offers centralised management and reduces the number of HSMs required.
