SMART AUTHOR project aims to facilitate the transition from educational publishers to the digital world and improve their competitiveness, significantly reducing the cost of content creation and creating a value proposition on it based on a layer of analytical intelligence that allows: (A) to evaluate their teaching effectiveness; (B) to give feedback to the instructor of the problems of student learning; and (C) to provide feedback to the editorial on how content is used. In addition to the editorial approach, the proposal SMART AUTHOR will offer a differential product in the field of corporate education. The SMART proposal may respond to the current needs of creation, distribution and internal knowledge management within organizations. From its expertise in Learning Analytics, the leading role of Gradiant in the project is precisely the design and implementation of analytical support layer to the entire system (analytical learning, the authoring process, the effectiveness of content, etc.).
