Gradiant’s role in the ADAM project was the design, implementation, and testing of a data fusion system that uses information from different sensors (magnetometers, GPS, inertial sensors, and pressure sensors) to provide vehicle positioning in a robust and reliable manner, even during GNSS signal interruptions.
The main objective of the ADAM project is to enhance the autonomous capabilities of transportation operational processes, through the development of advanced technologies in navigation, guidance, control, communications, surveillance, and automation, based on advanced architectures and technologies for autonomous mobile systems. This general objective is synergistically developed in applications for autonomous naval, aerial, and surface platforms.
