The AQÜiNT project aims to develop a complete hardware-software system for the intelligent management and control of water infrastructure, advancing towards the concept of Smart-Water. Gradiant’s objectives in the project are:

To develop algorithms based on machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques for data processing on the embedded AQÜiNT-ULINC device. These algorithms will provide a layer of intelligence to the device, as well as edge-computing capabilities, by analyzing in real-time the data flows collected from different sources or acquisition instruments. The main objectives of this analysis are: efficient and effective management of information; simplification of the rule engine logic integrated into the device; and significant reduction of the amount of data transmitted to the AQÜiNT-IIoT platform deployed in the cloud, through intelligent and selective filtering of the data captured from the monitored installation.

To develop algorithms based on machine learning and optimization techniques, aiming to implement a system that anticipates failures or unforeseen shutdowns in critical equipment related to water treatment infrastructure management. The primary goal of these algorithms will be the anticipation or prediction of unforeseen shutdowns for predictive maintenance in a component of the facility, based on the analysis and processing of data from various sources that record information about its condition.
