The main objective of the ARGOS project is the design and implementation, on a SoC platform, of a series of algorithms for detecting different types of anomalies (video freezes, constant black images, audio issues, etc.) in a multi-format video signal – MPEG2, H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC. The developed system must have the ability to process multiple multimedia streams in parallel and in real time. Gradiant’s role focuses on both the design of the algorithms and their implementation.

The Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Competitiveness (MINECO), under the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013-2016, granted funding for the project “ARGOS” led by GSertel, with file number RTC-2016-4691-7. This project has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Competitiveness within the RETOS-COLABORACIÓN Subprogram, 2016 Call. The main goal of this call is to promote technological development, innovation, and high-quality research.
