The CONGALS4.0 project (Design and Development of an Industrial Model 4.0 in the Galician Food Sector) aims to transform the sector by creating a more flexible, automated, social, collaborative, connected, and intelligent factory. Its goal is to respond quickly and anticipate market demand while respecting sustainability, transparency, and personalization criteria.
To achieve this, CONGALS4.0 will develop a 4.0 business model in which all processes are interconnected. This model will integrate both production and management processes, unifying all components of the Congalsa value chain, leading to greater efficiency and coordination. Digitization also plays a key role in the project, with the implementation of technologies and standards that enable real-time data extraction and analysis, improving the company’s adaptability.
Additionally, the project will advance new data analysis techniques to optimize decision-making by leveraging the data generated to refine processes. Finally, cybersecurity will be a priority, implementing mechanisms to detect and minimize risks, protecting both digital infrastructure and confidential company information.
