The GEOSUB project develops a “Detect and Avoid” system for BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) flight that allows the detection of manned and unmanned aircraft and avoids them through a safe maneuver. Thanks to the fusion of collaborative sensors (an ADS-B in receiver) and non-collaborative sensors (video cameras and radio frequency sensors), the product developed by Gradiant will support a large number of scenarios and will open the door to BVLOS missions in shared airspace. The product will be integrated with the aircraft’s flight control systems, in order to offer advanced DAA functionalities and can also be used as pilot assistance during flight.
