The PREPAYPlatform project aims to design and develop a technological platform for the hospitality industry, equipped with predictive intelligence, which will cover all aspects related to the preparation, management, and delivery of orders, whether for takeaway or to be consumed on-site at restaurants. The final outcome of the project will be a cross-cutting solution that will impact consumers (those who want to order online or make reservations), establishments (restaurants and/or home delivery outlets), and other stakeholders in the sector (home delivery services, payment management systems, payment methods, and delivery channels). This will advance towards a fully digital management of the sector, resulting in an enhanced experience for the consumer.
The project, with file number IDI-20200835, is funded by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), which is part of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
