Proyecto_gen-480x300-1

It is a project funded by the CDTI Technology Fund for the development of a new range of smart furniture for children, designed for educational, recreational, cultural, and domestic spaces. The project aims to promote the psychomotor development of children through educational games with visual and auditory stimuli. In the project, led by the furniture company SUTEGA, Gradiant contributes information and communication technologies, and Umana provides biomechanical engineering. Specifically, GRADIANT has developed a series of wireless communication modules based on IEEE802.15.4, 6LoWPAN, and CoAP standards, equipped with power LEDs for visual stimuli and hidden capacitive sensors for presence detection. These modules can be easily attached to various types of children’s furniture, which, following the Internet of Things concept, have their own identity and collaborate with each other. Additionally, the platform facilitates the incorporation of new games through a “market” style model, fostering collaboration within the developer community.
