The SECANI project (Definition of a Framework for the Development of Interactive Educational Content for Home Environments) is related to create a new educational model based on informal learning and the dissemination of interactive content for television through computer networks (combining aspects of education and entertainment), aiming to engage social sectors that are currently less involved in the Information Society.
The starting requirement of the proposal is that learning takes place in a family environment, in living rooms using everyday elements found in these spaces. To achieve this, a set of tasks will be undertaken to adapt existing devices in home living rooms and technologies that reach them, in order to build a highly effective informal learning space.
