The goal of the SLISE project is to mitigate the vulnerabilities introduced by new virtualization technologies, which have been widely adopted in the core of the 5G architecture (and are already part of the technical drafts for the sixth generation), and that have been carried over to the new paradigm of communications as a service. Specifically, the project aims to research new algorithms: for incident analysis, encryption, radio attack detection and identification, and automated response; in a more flexible context to address the risks inherent in virtualization technologies: Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Software Defined Networks (SDN), and Network Slicing (NS).
