XAIAL is an advanced system for detection, analysis, prioritization, orchestration, and automated response using Artificial Intelligence and advanced algorithms to address cybersecurity threats. The project aims to expand the capabilities of an existing simple SOAR system, seeking to automate complex events such as the risk and impact of attacks or threats to infrastructures, measured in a quantifiable and objective way. The project will develop an integrated cybersecurity management platform that will use innovative, specific solutions for analytics and response automation to conduct a global analysis and take rapid security countermeasures.
Specifically, the platform will focus on receiving real-time information from the infrastructure and other cybersecurity elements, the details of which will be stored within a Security Data Lake. This will allow, through an analytics and AI module, the detection, categorization, prioritization, and evaluation of security incidents, in order to infer the most appropriate action for each attack situation.
All of this will be supported by a simulation module, which will enable attack tests to be conducted within virtualized environments of the actual solution. These simulations will help define potential attack vectors based on previous or anticipated attacks, and relate them to the development of solutions and their application in the environment.
