AI REDGIO 5.0 Innovation Action developed a virtuous alliance between regions, IHL, AI solution providers and manufacturing SMEs, materialising in a new methodology for IHL service portfolio and customer journey analysis, an AI4EU oriented AI data and resource toolkit, a network of Learning Factories and their TECHNOLOGICAL and REGULATORY Sandboxes (TERESA) and an ecosystem of experiments driven by SMEs and their Digital Transformation pathways. The time has come to align such important results with the evolution of manufacturing towards Industry 5.0, the evolution of AI technologies in the cloud towards AI at the edge, the evolution of H2020 towards Horizon and Digital Europe programmes, p. a EDIH, Data Spaces and AI TEFs (Test and Experimentation Facilities) for Manufacturing.
