The SEERS project will develop an innovative multispectral vision system for infrared surveillance that can be used for surveillance and rescue operations, particularly in coastal and critical infrastructure areas. The system offers significant cost savings and technological advancements, as it can sample the entire infrared range with a single device. It will be tested using low-cost sensors and new processing methods, with the ability to detect gas leaks, spills, temperature changes from fires or explosions, and provide valuable data for more effective rescue operations.
