Photonics is a key enabling technology for nextgeneration communications, computing and sensing systems. At gradiant we develop photonic solutions that add functionality and enhance performance while minimizing SWaP for demanding operational environments.
A major innovation is the design of photonic circuits for analog self-interference cancellation in STAR systems, allowing simultaneous transmission and reception on the same frequency channel and improving bandwidth utilization. We also lead the development of compact architectures for quantum sensors based on NV centers, capable of operating across a wide frequency range (from DC to tens of THz).
Our capabilities span the complete development lifecycle of photonic solutions, encompassing signal‑processing algorithm development, component‑, chip‑, and system‑level design and modeling, packaging, demonstrator assembly, and experimental laboratory validation.
Our multidisciplinary approach combines expertise in photonics, quantum physics, microelectronics, and embedded software. These technologies play a crucial role in strengthening European digital sovereignty and leadership within the global photonics and quantum ecosystem.
