Organized and managed by the European Commission, NetFutures 2017 is the most important event for the European ICT. The 2017 edition will serve as a wake-up call for policy makers and technologist alike, for civil society and the young whose future we will influence. It will be the place for deep-dive conversations and learnings right at a time when Europe is at the brink of entering the next industrial revolution: The Net. NetFutures 2017 will expose the different strategies that are being held to make the European Union an ecosystem in which all parties involved in the process of innovation in ICT are connected.
Gradiant takes part in the event at the Industrial Internet and the rise of cross-cutting Digital Platforms workshop to discuss the opportunities and challenges of industrial platforms in selected vertical sectors, such as agriculture, healthcare and manufacturing and will explore the extent to which it could apply to other sectors of the industrial internet such as heavy equipment & machinery, transport and logistics. Luis Perez-Freire, Gradiant’s Executive Director, takes part in the panel presentations along with Rob Smeets (Philips), Juha Pankakoski (Konecranes) and Yves Gigase (ECSEL Joint Undertaking).
During two days between June 28th and 29th, NetFutures joins together in Brussels the major agents of innovation in Europe: entrepreneurs, investors, companies and specialists, in order to maximize the competitiveness of the European technology industry. The two days of activities aims to shape a community that connected businesses, organizations and experts in R&D, in market validation, in business development and business strategy, and in public policies.
