This project is developing a perimeter protection system for critical infrastructures against aerial attacks using any type of drones. To achieve this, sensors based on two complementary technologies are used: radiofrequency spectrum analysis and optical sensors. The fusion of information from these two detection and localization technologies allows for the detection of drones of any type, even if they do not have a communication link, and enables operation 24/7. Additionally, the system has the capability to neutralize the attack by interfering with the communication signals. One of the main features of the system is its modularity, allowing integration with other sensors that enable detection or neutralization.
