CERVUS is a security system that provides protection for people and infrastructure against misuse of drones.

Problem

Today, there is a real threat of incidents caused by unmanned aerial systems, or drones. These devices can pose a serious threat in the hands of users looking to compromise the security of strategic national infrastructures or even organised crime or terrorist groups.

Drones, designed since their inception for recreational purposes, can be misused for purposes such as espionage, smuggling, vandalism or even terrorist attacks. Their versatile nature means that these elements are considered potential tools for compromising security in confined spaces.

Solution

One of the applications of Counter UAS is the development collaboration with the TRC group and the 31st Electronic Warfare Regiment of the Spanish Army (REW31), incorporating this technology under the name of Project Cervus. Its function is to detect and prevent drone attacks within a radius of up to ten kilometres, providing perimeter protection for infrastructures and critical areas against any type of drone attack.

Counter UAS by Gradiant is capable of detecting, classifying, locating and neutralising drones to prevent unlawful activities within a security perimeter, protecting critical infrastructure and the population. It is a modular, scalable and decentralised system and can operate autonomously or guided by an operator, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
